BODY MAPPING & STYLE

Now we are going to step into the unknown and uncover so much good about you that you didn’t even know existed as you think that you are so ‘flawed’. It is true that over 91% of us are dissatisfied with our bodies and so to be fair, how can you judge yourself objectively? This then makes it incredibly hard to choose the right shape and style of clothing to flatter yourself and so what we tend to do is buy clothing that covers our imaginary flaws therefore hiding all our incredible assets that we should be highlighting.

This experience will get you truly thinking about your style favourites and your fashion faux paus through the years. We will also start to connect the dots of you are and who you want to show to the world, be prepared.

The consultation was a complete revelation to me.. Jo is straight to the point in the most professional way, I found out that I have great legs! Who knew? She starts at the top and works her way through, tells you what to highlight, and how, what to hide, and how to do that too. She has made me see myself in a different light. I could not recommend this lovely lady enough.

THE BENEFITS

On this journey, the roadmap is your body shape. This is what I work with to show you what flatters you, how and why. The body map and style experience really show how incredibly unique you are. For the first time you will get to really see your body shape and understand how to dress it with the right styles, so that you will always feel and look like you.

THE BODY MAP

This is fun to do (for you and me) It is a great way to truly identify your shape and proportions as I literally do ‘draw’ around you so that you can really see your shape. It is always better than what you think and then I use this to show you how to dress so that you flatter yourself in every single way.

THE PROPORTIONS

When getting dressed, we are creating an optical illusion so that we look in proportion. In an ideal world, our head, fits neatly in to our body eight times. This isn’t always possible and so when we look at your proportions, we can decide how to adapt your clothing to get your look on track.

THE SCALE

We come in all different heights, weights, sizes and body structure, so another great asset to work with when creating your outfit is by using your scale. By taking this as a guide, we are able to discover the best sizing of patterns, jewellery, accessories, shoes, heels and more that harmonise with you therefore creating a look that complements you. Working with your scale creates visual balance.

OUTSIDE & INSIDE LINES ~ CREATING THE ILLUSION.

This part of the journey is seeing how lines play a huge role. We can see, but we are not taught ‘how’ to see. The eye can only take in one shape at a time and so we need to create a style that is a pleasure for the eye to see. The outside line is your body shape, the inside lines are all the finer details that we use to highlight our assets and to minimise our areas that we find challenging.

FABRICS TEXTURES AND COLOURS

The fabrics that we choose to wear also play a role in our proportions. They can add bulk, smooth out areas, minimize others so it is just as important to get the fabric choices right too.

THE FOUNDATIONS

To start this journey has to be your underwear. Although we can’t see it, underwear truly is the foundation to building an amazing outfit. Lumps and bumps can ruin the loveliest looking dress, ill fitting bras can age you and add pounds so they are true investment items.

MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR BODY

At the end of the day, the desire is to connect you with your shape and to discover how to dress yourself so that you truly feel you. To feel confident, happy and all round proud of what you have and who you are. There are some Do’s and Don’ts, that we also discuss so that you have a little more know how on creating the perfect look of harmony.

THE 5 KEY STEPS
IGNITE, RADIATE & TRANSFORM YOUR REFLECTION

Each section connects to the other and they play a huge role in how we look, feel and are perceived by others. It also plays a massive role towards our mental well being too.
